Whenever you are at the racetrack and bad weather is eminent you can feel the electricity in the air around you. You can feel the storm brewing. Last night’s CARS Tour race might not have been the cleanest race. But it showcased what drivers do when racing the weather.

I took this video last week of Greenville-Pickens Speedway in South Carolina. Don’t think this can happen to your local track? Think again. Race tracks are easy targets for development. Support your local grassroots track and enjoy some great racing.

Some people might not like them. But I was thrilled to see this guy in my backyard yesterday.

Just laid a good ol country ass whooping on their ass Tri County Speedway Landon Huffman Led flag to flag for win number two on the season!!

A stack of pancakes with sausage patties would be great right now. And I mean pork sausage! Not that turkey sausage bullshit that people always say. “Oh it tastes just like regular sausage.” No it doesn’t taste like regular sausage. And don’t get me started on turkey bacon.

I keep saying this over and over. We have to support Grassroots short tracks! They struggle to keep their tracks open for us to compete on. It’s a tough business. If you have a grassroots track within driving distance to you please go take in a race there.

I always love going to Anderson Motor Speedway. It’s one of my favorite tracks. The staff did an amazing job with the CARS Tour event this weekend! The track is quietly becoming a gem in the southeast. And the blue and white walls give the track its own unique identity. Great job!

The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series is the points championship for NASCAR sanctioned local short tracks. O’Reilly auto parts is replacing Xfinity as a sponsor. Will there be competing companies sponsoring different series in NASCAR? Or is more change coming?
