8 dives so far this morning for 7 fish. 3 different Ospreys fishing Activity is ramping up this morning with T7, 30 and 1H7 all fishing, it’s great to see 30 again. Eggs are beginning to hatch now putting pressure on the males to supply food for their families.

First Ospreys of the year. They are so much faster then me keeping the camera focused. A few images were okay though but I am cross with myself. #osprey #1H7 River Gwash Ospreys #rivergwash #hornmilltroutfarm #wildlifephotography #birdsofprey

Despite the heat today, the Ospreys provide plenty of action This morning’s session saw 3 dives for 3 fish from 1H7 and T7. This evening T7 put in a shift swooping over the pond, diving 6 times and successfully catching 4 fish to take back to the nest.

The stunning kingfishers are always a welcome site at the Osprey hide here at Horn Mill Trout Farm. These beautiful birds are really active at the moment munching down the sticklebacks in the pond! šŸ“ø Many thanks to Xian Wei Liu
