More good news, as the Bears sign forward Micah Miller to an AHL contract for 2025-26! He had 53 points and a plus-33 rating with South Carolina in addition to two games in Hershey last season. Happy to have him back!

We’re saddened to learn of the passing of Guido Tenesi, a member of our roster during the 1974 Calder Cup championship, and was known to many more for his role as Billy Charlebois in the classic hockey film “Slapshot.” Our hearts are with his family, friends, and teammates.

Devastating news but a well deserved promotion to the NHL for Bears head coach Todd Nelson with his new role as an assistant coach in Pittsburgh! He will be missed in Hershey and appreciated forever!!

Not only was Todd Nelson a heck of a coach in Hershey, he was a pleasure to work with. He treated everyone like family and made you feel welcome. A special person who will be greatly missed here. Thanks for the memories, Nelly!

We should of known we were in for a wild ride and amazing memories when Nelly rolled into the club's Opening Night Red Carpet Arrival in 2023 on a motorcycle. What a power move before his Hershey coaching debut. So many great memories.

Gonna pivot from the planned article for today to a Nelson piece later on - we'll get back to the players we'd like to see back in the near future!

Patrick is right as always, there will be significant interest for Hershey's now vacant head coaching role. Many big decisions to be made that the organization now has some time to make.

It's the end of an era in Hershey as head coach Todd Nelson is moving on to the NHL, and we're saying thank you for three remarkable seasons, tons of records, great memories, and two Calder Cups. THANK YOU NELLY! bearshockeynation.wordpress.com/2025/06/20/tha…
