D5 Deputy Mace responded to a disturbance wherein a suspect was arrested for Agg Assault W/ Deadly Weapon FV, a handgun utilized during the incident was seized. The suspect also had an active warrant for Agg Assault FV. Great job by Deputy Mace ensuring the safety of the victim!

D5 CRU observed a suspicious vehicle at a motel located at 1960/290. The occupant had an open assault warrant and he was also in possession of 176 G of meth pills, fentanyl pills and $2,761 in cash. A second suspect was arrested for possessing 25.47 G of crystal meth!

D5 CRU attempted to make contact with a suspicious vehicle at high crime motel near 290/1960, but the vehicle fled. A short vehicle then foot pursuit ensued and the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect had 2 open felony warrants and was in possession of 4.5 Grams of Meth!

D5 CRU observed a known suspect trespassing at a high crime motel located at 290/1960. Upon contact the suspect fled on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was apprehended without incident. He was found to be in possession of stolen identity items, 1 in custody!

D5 CRU conducted a traffic stop on the area of BW 8/Bammel N. Houston Rd. While investigating, Deputies located 1.3 grams of pressed Fentanyl pills. Narcotics seized, warrant to follow!

D5 and D1 CRU, K9 and DPS executed a search warrant on a known narcotics location which resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics to include fentanyl pills, meth, cocaine, 6 guns (1 stolen), body armor and $6,480 in cash. 6 in custody on multiple felony charges!

D5 CRU along with DPS MIG conducted a narcotics investigation which led to the seizure of Fentanyl, Heroin, Meth, Xanax, 4 guns, 1 vehicle and 1 motorcycle. A total of 4 people were arrested on multiple felony charges. When agencies work together, the community always wins!

D5 CRU assisted DPS MIG with a multi agency narcotics investigation in the area of 1960/290. During the investigation, 2 suspects were arrested for Possession with the intent to Deliver over 4.3 Kilograms of Cocaine. These drugs were seized and removed from our community!

Captain Paul F. Bruce is currently working a major accident scene affecting the morning commute along 290 between Becker and Bauer. Eastbound traffic is being diverted to the feeder at Becker until the Main lanes are clear.

On Wednesday October 18th, D5 CRU along with DPS MOCO conducted a narcotics investigation which led to the seizure of approximately 10 Kilos of Crystal Meth. 2 in custody….. Love it when agencies work together, the community always wins!!

On Thursday October 19th, D5 CRU along with HSI Agents conducted a narcotics investigation which led to the seizure of Fentanyl, Meth, Cocaine, Marijuana, Promethazine, 3 Pill Presses and several assault rifles and handguns. 5 in custody, multiple felony charges filed!!

On October 20th, D5 CRU assisted a Federal Narcotics Task Force with a narcotics investigation. During the investigation, 2 suspects were arrested for Possession with the intent to deliver over 6.2 Kilos of Cocaine. These narcotics were seized and removed out of our communities!
