Thirty six year old Eric and his family were at Palliser Regional Park on a boat with friends. The children were in the water playing; Eric jumped in to help his son, Waylon, into the boat. Unfortunately, Eric disappeared under the water and never resurfaced.

Eric's wife, Courtney, jumped in for Waylon, got him in the boat, went back in to find Eric. Unfortunately, to date, his body has not been recovered.

On Thursday morning HEART located and recovered the body of Eric Tourond from Lake Diefenbaker. Please continue to pray for this family as they try to cope in this difficult time. Eric had been missing for over three weeks.

HEARTeam is headed to Saskatoon today to assist in the search for Nathaniel Bear who is presumed drowned in the South Saskatchewan River. He has been missing for over a week and his family and community needs our prayers and support as they try to cope with their tremendous loss

We hope to secure a suitable boat for this mission so we can search the river bottom. We realize that the conditions are extremely challenging for this kind of search but with God all things are possible.
