Some of our board members had the privilege to attend the groundbreaking ceremony this morning for our new H-E-B right here in H-E-B! We are so excited and want to thank them so much for the generous donation of $10,000 to the Education Foundation… wow!

The HEB Ed Foundation board meeting included a delightful performance by 3rd graders from River Trails Elementary under the direction of Tonya McKenna. Christine Cumberledge, HEB ISD Director of Visual and Performing Arts introduced them. Thank you, young performers! We loved it!

Board Campus Liaisons Ellen Jones and Jerrilyn Woodard-Entrekin enjoyed visiting with faculty and staff at Euless Trinity High School today and encouraging them to apply for Empowered to Excel grants starting February 14th.

Board Campus Liaison Jon McKenzie stopped by Shady Oaks Elementary this afternoon with some homemade cookies (baked by his daughter) and drinks to talk about the Empowered to Excel Grants.
