NPF4 must be clear, deliverable, viable, consistent & ambitious. While it gets some things right, we’ve highlighted the following to Local Government, Housing and Planning Committee: ✅Supports tackling the climate change ✅Supports tackling the nature crisis ❌Does not address the housing crisis.

The appointment of Humza Yousaf as new First Minister presents the perfect opportunity for review.

Delighted to be in Crieff at the Scottish Water Development Conference & especially pleased to progress discussions with Mark Hunter, Gen Mgr - Development Services on supporting our SME members across utility challenges so that they can keep #deliveringmore #homesforscotland

I am delighted that Homes for Scotland is showcasing some of the great work that is being undertaken across the home building sector by our members during #NetZeroWeek and to restate our commitment to achieve what is practicable at the earliest opportunity. #deliveringmore #homesforscotland

Key Homes for Scotland training calls include the need to ensure understanding of the Local Development Plan process, the appropriate use of planning conditions, development economics/site viability and the appeals process (including costs for both applicant and local authority).

Very encouraging to hear the focus on planning & home building while at Scottish Labour's Business Forum today. I look forward to engaging with Anas Sarwar & his team on the detail of their proposals so that Scotland can maximise the social & economic benefits of home building

Delighted to see such strong coverage of our joint call with SFHA, CIH Scotland & Joseph Rowntree Foundation ahead of the Scottish Parliament Budget vote. I hope First Minister will think again about the proposed cuts & that MSPs will carefully consider the housing needs of their constituents as they vote.
