The Varsity H Athlete of the Year is presented to the top male and female athlete for their performance during their senior sport season and throughout their career at Hickory. This year, Luca Bertolasio is the male recipient! A 4-time All-State selection and 2-time state champ!

Kenzie Fox, Kylie Hoffman, Hailey Melhorn and Bella Radu are the female recipients of the Varsity H Athlete of the Year! Four dedicated members of the 4-time District 10 Champ and State Runner-Up competitive cheer team!

The Tom Burns Academic All Star Award is presented by the Mercer County Hall of Fame to the male and female student-athlete with the highest GPA at each Mercer County High School. This year’s winners from Hickory HS are... Ben Jones and Abbey Black!

The Marsden M. McBride Memorial Award is presented to a student-athlete, who through hard work and dedication, get the most accomplished for their team and their community. This year’s winners are… Connor Saylor, Ben Swanson, DayMar Trawick, Loren Myers and Abby Cozad!

The Sarah S. Ward Memorial Scholarship is presented to a graduating Hickory High School female student-athlete pursuing higher education. This year’s recipient is… Malana Beach!

Congratulations to Senior Macie Horvath who raced to a 10th place finish this past weekend to qualify for states. The girls’ team raced beautifully & took 5th out of 15 teams. Caden Riethmiller took 3rd place with his strong race. The boys’ raced well & took 8th out of 18 teams

Both Macie & Caden are Hershey bound! Congratulations to Ayren & Noelle on their fantastic careers. You are amazing people with bright futures. Thank you for all you’ve given this XC family.
