Emailed at 10am this morning. Secretary at work, no texts or phone calls to follow up. In mean time all their players decided to go on a shopping trip despite us being able to host. Cheers lads 👍

Run continues.. 11 unbeaten. Have to admit we got away with one today. Winning 4-3 in the end. Both teams finishing with 9 men. No way was it that type of game though. Big weekend next weekend. Against top of the league. Looking to repeat our victory against them last timeout.

Local derby tomorrow, and it’s gonna be a cracker, rangers been on a great run since we beat them in the league- their only defeat this season. If it’s repeated the pressure is on. 2pm ko St John fishers.

Pitch in top notch condition for this season. And the guy who’s supposed to be helping us from the council is being laid off and not replaced. Local council wanting FA to help clubs now, giving them a grant to start up and maintain your own pitch.

Very good run out today in our first pre-season game. Traveled over to Deighton FC and faced a good well drilled team. Scores were even at full time finishing 1-1 George stones with our only goal on debut.

No match today, opposition pulled out yesterday so it’s a Saturday morning training session. 🤜

Clough welcome Hanging Heaton fc tonight for a 7pm kick off. A mixture of Res team, trialest and players returning from injuries getting a run out. 2 squads getting 45 mins whilst training session being carried out.

Third pre-season game today, we travel over to Halifax to face AFC Volunteers after a midweek run out against Howden Clough where we drew 3-3. 3-1 up just before the break and lots of changes on either side saw the game finish even. Very good run out.

Friendlies completed last night. Good game against a mixture of lads from @FCSkelmanthorpe never gave in and fitness showed towards the end. Back to the gym for a couple weeks and then a a couple more training sessions.

What action would or could your club take if the council allowed an event on your field. Caused considerable damage on and through course of the summer made repairs. Then 2 weeks before season relayed it.
