Our Int Supt Dr. Grenita Lathan, HISD Trustees and HISD West Schools Office extends condolences to Lamar HS, Pin Oak MS, Lanier MS, Poe ES in loss of two LHS 9th graders. Both attended Poe, Pin Oak, and Lanier. Counselors are available for students and staff at these campuses.

Great things in HISD West Area. Small groups of principals in Kagan Training today. An area wide initiative to insure all teachers trained in brain based strategies to insure that every student is engaged at high levels of cognition. We are serious about all students learning.
