On Monday Councillor Tracy Kelly visited Crompton Street to mark the completion of this new housing scheme🏠 This scheme offers vital support, security, and accessibility, allowing residents to live independently.

It's great to see this housing scheme reach completion after years of hard work from Tracy Kelly & our partners. Providing a good home for all is a core priority for us Salford City Council, & this mixed-tenure development is a prime example of how we're meeting our residents needs.🏘️

Last May, Salford Labour pledged to enhance the provision of play parks in Salford, as part of our commitment to a Child Friendly City. As part of this, Salford City Council is asking for resident views on proposals for a new play area for Brookhouse Community Centre.

The fly tipping on Parkstone Road/Platts Brook has been cleared, thanks to the environmental team Salford City Council. We have asked @Forhousing to implement a regular clearance and maintenance operation and monthly inspections to ensure this area remains clean & tidy for residents.

At Irlam, Cadishead and Peel Green Community Committee, it’s been great to get an update on the Cadishead Pump track and also really great to hear from Salford Police (GMP) that crime has reduced in the area by 17% in the last month.

The improvements to transport in GM keep on coming. 🐝 Irlam Station now has new lifts and step-free access. 👍🏻 Over the next three years, eight more will be made fully accessible: Swinton, Hindley, Bryn, Reddish North, Levenshulme, Bredbury, Newton for Hyde and Flowery Field.
