Research Fellow Andrew Frawley has spent the week with 9-11 year olds, exploring colour, fluorescence & super-resolution microscopy. The students also explored links between science and art through pigments and archaeological artefacts. Hopefully inspiring some future chemists!

(2/3) The different polymorphs have different conformers with varying waviness of butadiyne linkers and planarity of porphyrins. Here you can see a fragment of an infinite stack of the template-bound rings.
