To raise money for our Welfare Fund, #HMSPortland held a pizza deliveroo night hosted by the Wardroom. This saw Officers of the Wardroom prep, cook and deliver pizza and sides to each Mess for a donation that will benefit the Ship’s Company 🍕#RoyalNavy

After a busy year deployed, HMS Portland is back and as busy as ever. Starting off the year with promotions from ET2 to ET1 for the ME’s onboard.

On Wednesday HMS Portland went into 6 Dock at HMNB Devonport in order to carry out some essential maintenance. The 30 second clip shows a glimpse of what was actually a 10 hour evolution start to finish.⚓️#RoyalNavy

Yesterday we bid farewell to our XO, Lt Cdr Kilbride RN as he addressed the Ship’s Company before granting leave for Easter. His final act as XO was to rate ET(ME) Farrell from ETME2 to ETME1 and CS Ferguson to LCS. Good luck Sir on your next adventure in HMS Trent ⚓️
