Congratulations to our diabetes team who last night won the NSW Health Achieving Targets award for their work in increasing the number of children they treat with Type 1 diabetes to achieve targets for glycaemia.

Swedish Paediatric Endocrinologist, Dr Ragnar Hanas was recently in Australia and visited John Hunter Children's Hospital where he gave a talk on the Swedish approach to CGM and HbA1c targets, much to the delight of type 1 diabetes patient, 11-year-old Aiden.
