What an absolute honour to meet these two fine gentlemen, Bev and Eric, today as part of our #oralhistory project for New Life Old West. Tomorrow, we’re in Landbeach collecting more heroic stories.

Details of stallholders & timing of activities can be found here: facebook.com/events/1252555… All activities free thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund #cambridgeshire #cambridgeshirevents #cottenham #cambridge #ely #wildlife #conservation #nature #familyfriendly Visit Cambridge

Enormous thanks to Landbeach Community Hub for hosting our #oralhistory session today, and for providing lunch! The Hub is held in the beautiful All Saint’s Church. Once again, an honour to speak to our participants. New Life Old West

Very excited to be talking Tudor food with Suzannah Lipscomb again!

For #BookLoversDay, we at HistoryNeedsYou are devouring Brigitte Webster’s wonderful new book, Eating with the Tudors. We highly recommend it for history-lovers and foodies alike.

We had a great time at today’s Open for Nature Day with New Life Old West. Matthew shared stories with the wonderful Ouse Washes Story Quilt, Gill talked maps & encouraged arty visitors to draw their own Fenland Natural Hero, & we were joined by the fabulous Rory of Hereward the Wake

Hereward the Wake 'Calls Out' William the Conqueror! And it is all about the state of the King's Highway around the village of Cottenham in the Cambs Fens! (Thanks to Gill from HistoryNeedsYou2 for the clip) #WakeHereward #HerewardCharityChallenge #HerewardTheWake

Today we were at Willingham community hub with HistoryNeedsYou2, recording oral histories of local residents and sharing memories with the Ouse Washes and Fenland Story Quilt 🌞 #newlifeoldwest #cambsacre #community

Celebrate #MarySeacole at glorious St George's Hall in #Liverpool - #history and #heritage of all, for all!
