Massive traffic build up in H.O.M.E Residents' Association area this morning. Elgin resident has reported long lasting congestion, beeping horns and unacceptable level of traffic fumes. Can lead to accidents...as we have said before. For years. #sacrificezone #AddiscombeWestBypass Sarah Jones MP

Been wondering what's going on with the traffic today? Google map from 10.30am today shows the congestion in H.O.M.E Residents' Association area caused by traffic being diverted into this residential area from congested main roads. Jeet Bains Cllr Maddie Henson (she/her) Sarah Jones MP

One resident has reported feeling nauseous from traffic fumes in Elgin. Look at map to see just how much congestion there is in this road. Air pollution does no one any good.

Sean Fitzsimons Road surfacing is one cause...but another is that there are roads that are protected from taking thro' traffic. This means that when there is a problem, even more traffic than usual is funneled down the #AddiscombeWestBypass, ie Elgin Road, and others such as Havelock Road.
