Shout out to Sophomore, Ashlynn Horvath, on her 9th place finish at the state track and field meet in the pole vault. Ashlynn had the height, 10’ 6”, to place top 8 but was edged out due to one miss at 10. Great showing in her first time competing here! HSD Athletics

District 10 began the 2025 PIAA track and field meet with eight first-seeded athletes. The district will conclude it with five forever remembered as state gold medalists. The fifth was Hickory’s Ben Walls (below) in the Class 2A boys shot put.
