The High Sheriff had a wonderful time watching the work of Prudhoe based theatre group Mortal Fools, she said "It was remarkable & wonderful to see young people learning to act and harnessing energy in a positive way,".

Before Christmas the High Sheriff paid a visit to Briardale House, a fantastic resource for families in Blyth, to see the children do festive crafts. To find out more about the brilliant work of Briardale House go to Hadston House.


The High Sheriff had a wonderful time at Northumbria Police Pride in Policing Awards in 2021, celebrating the outstanding contributions made by officers, staff and volunteers while serving the communities we are privileged to be a part of here in Northumberland and the North East.


The High Sheriff urges the people of Northumberland to participate in The Queen's Green Canopy, a unique, UK-wide tree planting initiative created to mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

The High Sheriff recently visited the 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery at the Albemarle Barracks. She received a wonderful reception and considered it a privilege to inspect the guard, meet the members of the Regiment and view their equipment. Thank you to the British Army 🇬🇧.
