The High Sheriff visited the heroes making a considerable effort to support people affected by storm Arwen in Rothbury and Wooler. A massive thank you goes out to all those who have worked and are still working to help people all over Northumberland return to safety and warmth

The High Sheriff had a wonderful time watching the work of Prudhoe based theatre group Mortal Fools, she said "It was remarkable & wonderful to see young people learning to act and harnessing energy in a positive way,".

The High Sheriff is hugely proud of Ayesha for delivering amazing youth services in Haltwhistle at Young & Sweet. Through informal learning Young & Sweet teaches young people about their emotional, physical and mental wellbeing and gets them involved in their local community

The High Sheriff had a brilliant evening visiting the 1st Haydon Bridge Cubs. The High Sheriff spoke with the children about the history of the shrievalty, understanding the insignia, and then held a mock court with the Cubs to understand the use of a jury and evidence.
