Spent the morning at Kettlethorpe High School - what an amazing place with a great many talented young people. Thank you to the whole team that made us most welcome. I was in my 'element' and I even discovered how to use an apostrophe 😂

Following the accident and the damage to the bus shelter on A642 - close to Holyoake Terrace, in Horbury Bridge - WY Metro have confirmed that a new shelter will be installed. The new shelter is currently being manufactured and should be in place in the next 8 weeks or so.

Called in at Wakefield Fire Station to their Open Day. It was very busy with families enjoying and listening to safety messages while having fun!

On Sunday morning Peter & I were at Aspire Sports Centre in Featherstone. We watched some amazing people who challenged themselves to take part in a whole range of Inclusive Sporting activities - part of OurYear2024 Who knew I could finger-spin a basketball.
