Stefan Molyneux, MA In the UK ladies would knit sweaters for their husbands. If the husbands were were fishermen, those sweaters would be of a unique pattern of cables which ran in families and could be used to identify the fishermen in case of death at sea.

I was at a small pool side gathering in LA earlier this year (a kumquat party!) and the organizer asked everyone what their favorite poem was and then she got up and recited a sonnet from memory and it was awesome

would say that human life has inherent, immeasurable value (not infinite). we want to be careful that we don’t make an idol out of our life which would then cause us to use measures to preserve it at all costs. The scriptures show many examples of people laying their lives down
