Andrew Jackson Academy's home FB game with Dorchester Academy has been cancelled due to half of the team at AJA having Covid. Head coach John Paul Jones said the game will be made up at DA on 10-19. For everyone's safety we have cancelled the game said Coach Jones.

Gaffney's Region game with Spartanburg post poned due to Helene will be made up later in season with Cherokee Cty. schools closed until Wed due to severe power outages. It is likely the SCHSL extend the football season one week due to the tragedy brought on by Hurricane Helene .

The North Augusta Girls have won the AAAA Lower State badketball title with a 42 to 34 win over Lower Richland. The Jackets were led in scoring by Kenedi Wright an Celena Grant with 13 an 11 pts each

The North Augusta boys have defeated Wilson High 55 to 44 in the Lower State AAAA finals. Daron Dunbar an Quh Webb led the Jackets with 15 and 14 points respectively.
