Congratulations to Northstar junior Maigh Patel for receiving the "Rensselaer Medalist" award, which is a premier merit scholarship worth $160,000 for outstanding math and science students from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

NHS Consumer Bowl participants—Maigh Patel, Alexander Shah, Daniella Ortega, Raul Rivera Rios, and Yussef Vindas—were honored at the Hamilton Council Meeting on May 20th. Northstar Nation is proud of all their accomplishments! Thank you to Mr. Bendorf for advising the students.

Today’s Star Status Northstar alumni spotlight is on Dr. Sundeep Saini, who graduated from Nottingham High School in 2006, and is currently working as an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon at Ocean Orthopedic Associates.

Congratulations to Northstar alumna Audrey Ford on being featured on Jostens Yearbook Avenue national website! Audrey's photo from the Nottingham fall pep rally was selected from thousands of photos submitted in this nationwide Jostens photo contest.

Nottingham's Black Student Union Club had its first event on Wednesday, where they hosted a cultural food potluck. Students were able to enjoy face painting, games, and they got to learn more about the club.
