Saw lots of good inclusive design at Museum of Making at Derby Silk Mill and other #Derby spots this weekend. But this ramp access in the old quarter caught my eye... The gravel approach is as good as a moat. Maybe a bonded surface would keep the 'look' but deliver the access intended? @CAE_info


Thanks for sharing this James. Another insightful Independent Voices read. I'd not really considered how hard it might be to get out for exercise as a wheelchair user. Disabling barriers are clearly attitudinal as well as physical. Media imagery can play a part in improving #inlcusion
