Thanks to UiB Brussels Office Office for hosting PROTECT project's final consortium meeting on 9 March. Not only we who are often in Brussels but also out partners appreciate that this facility, which provides working spaces, networks, and relevant updated information.

It is impossible to do justice to the richness of PROTECT's research. This concluding essay contains my conceptualization of the much needed transformation of international protection and the instruments needed to trigger such a transformation, based on the results from PROTECT.
