Year 4 were using their new #knowledge of 4 figure grid references after looking at OS maps and describing position and direction in Geography. Playing a version of battleships was a great way to check our understanding. #Geography #maps #learning #education #fridaymorning

Year 4 are Historians studying the Mayans and have found out about the magical discovery of chocolate and how it was stolen from the gods! We researched how it was used in trade and religion and made our own bars. We designed Mayan branded wrappers too. #History #learning #fun

When there is the opportunity to have some snow fun, we take it! Children enjoyed making snowpeople, rolling snowballs and chasing eachother at the park. Everyone came back exhausted but smiling. #fun #snowday #WeatherReport #learning #snow

Year 1 stepped back in time at The Ragged Museum this week and experienced a Victorian schoolroom. Nothing like actually being there to see what it would have been like for children just over 100 years ago. #fridaymorning #learning #visit #school
