The past is a different constituency, they voted differently there. Fact is, only about 30% of the people living in Wimbledon when Labour last won are still here, and they are the stable, home-owning, Tory leaning voters. Labour's vote from the Blair years is long gone.

Get your magnifying glass out and read the source of the data for Labour's bar chart. You'll notice it comes from an MRP analysis at the start of the year which was so bad the polling company which produced the raw data put out a statement saying it was nothing to do with them.

Given the comments from this tactical voting site, and the huge MRP poll out today predicting Labour will come third in Wimbledon it is clear Labour's bar chart is intentionally misleading. Let's see if Labour has any integrity left and withdraws it.

Well, this is awkward. Labour tell people in Wimbledon to use TacticalVote.co.uk to decide who to vote for. TacticalVote.co.uk then Tweets that it's the LibDems.

Hmm, about even between LibDems and Labour today in the Battle of Raynes Park, with the Tories bringing up the rear. But as Labour had the draw of Khan I'm giving the win to the LibDems.

It's amusing - this Tweet is totally devastating for Labour, and the only reason TacticalVote noticed and posted it was because of the publicity around Labour renting the shop next to the LibDems. What a Labour own goal.
