I find the officious reminders that a flat phone battery is no excuse for not having a ticket to hand particularly annoying. It would be much easier to keep a phone charged if we weren’t waiting around for delayed trains and there enough working plug sockets

Recently been on quite a few train journeys where there hasn’t even been an attempt at WiFi provision. Looking at you CrossCountry Trains today. Being charged full (very large) prices from not full services is really irritating. Would have been nice to get some work done!
