Handsworth Wood Neighbourhood team have arrested a male who was wanted for a serious assault, thanks to the good work of the business improvement district (BID). Great partnership work.

Arrest | Yesterday, the Handsworth Wood Neighbourhood team  identified and arrested a male who was wanted for a robbery on the Soho Road, Good work by all involved.

Cannabis grow | Officers have gained entry to an address within the area which was booby trapped and located approximately 500 cannabis plants which have all been seized to be destroyed. Weapons were also found at the address which were also seized.

Arrest | Officers on foot patrol today on the Soho road have arrested a male for assaulting an elderly female causing injury. As well racially aggravated public order. With the assistance of SohoRoad BID

Handsworth Wood NHT have taken two illegal cars off the roads of Handsworth today. Both were causing a road obstruction, one had no tax and had been dumped for several months. The other was not taxed, insured OR MOT'd. All 3! Please tax/insure/mot your car or they will be seized.
