#NEMuR7 moving on with two great presentations. Hannah J Gibbs on “shared flow” in gamalan through physiological coupling and @PTzanaki on #empathy and social bonding through #synchronisation

Our second session at #NEMuR7 focused on synchrony and entrainment. Thanks for great presentations @PTzanaki, Hannah J Gibbs, Martin Clayton and Tuomas Eerola covering #empathy, #flow experience, various musical traditions, methods and #openscience

Strong representation from YMPG at the PG Forum. Caroline Owen on music, children, & emotion. @missmaggielv on cross-cultural emotion. Hannah J Gibbs on Gamelan & shared flow. This trio of topics showcases the quality, range, & vibrancy of the Music Psychology research in York

1/2 Feel like I've fallen off the radar with my twittering but everything seems to be coming together this summer. An article on my first study is under review, and data collection of my second PhD study commences this Friday with Gamelan Sekar Petak, with many more lined up until August.

2/2 And very excited to be presenting two papers at ICMPC17_APSCOM7 in Tokyo, the first talk on my second study at GAPS2 Conference in York, and fingers crossed SysMus_Conf in Sheffield. Better dust off my presenter hat.

Glad to be at #icmpc17-apscom7 with Hannah J Gibbs & James Cannon 😄 Can’t wait to hear about their #research. Thank you WRoCAH for supporting all of us!

Delighted to present today at ICMPC17_APSCOM7 on some research conducted with Jonna Vuoskoski at UniOslo_RITMO last year. Thank you to the organisers, and for the interesting questions. Looking forward to my next talk on my gamelan and shared flow research tomorrow morning.

Thank you to all who attended my second ICMPC17_APSCOM7 presentation yesterday on my first PhD study and most recent publication. Some very lovely discussions!

Will we see you SysMus_Conf? 👀 Caroline Owen Menglan Lyu and Hannah J Gibbs will be presenting their work and @mimi_oneill is on the wellbeing panel on Friday afternoon.

Du er fantastisk, Dana & The Monsters! A hugely engaging overview of your thesis, and very much enjoying watching your PhD disputation from a short hop across the pond. Thank you UniOslo_RITMO for making the live stream possible.
