SMI are saddened to learn of the death of Honorary Member Dr Ita Beausang. Ita completed the first PhD in musicology in Ireland (1962) and published in the areas of Anglo-Irish music and female Irish composers. Our thoughts are with Ita’s family and friends at this time.
