the thing about censorship is that it bleeds. It bleeds on a cultural and sociological level. Even if new censorship laws are repealed, they’ll never be repealed all the way. It won’t ever be as free as it was before. You always lose ground with censorship. Always.

I cannot understate how diabolical what is happening in the UK and EU is right now, effectively all 'violent' or 'lewd' video games are bannable whether you think your game/character is morally "acceptable" or not it will be banned all the same; along with internet/free speech.
