Just posted another research study on HarknessDAO After it’s approved through a DAO governance process not only can I earn for my efforts, but so can peer reviewers for doing that important work- and not from a centralized fund. And not for just one person.

I have heard Jeff say HarknessDAO is for every research institute, both academic and non-academic researchers. Come to think of it, we have great academic researchers around the globe, serious ones I won't dare mention...the amount of work is impressive and awe striking.

Scientific publishing is under pressure. A recent The Guardian editorial warns of AI-generated research, volume-driven incentives, and eroding peer review, all threatening the credibility of science. But we already knew this. Luckily we're already building to solve this.

COPE (the Committee on Publication Ethics) held its July 2025 forum this week. Topics: plagiarism, fake peer review, and AI-generated authorship. If that sounds like the system is destabilizing, it's because it is. Trust isn’t automatic. It has to be re-earned.
