Not only was there awesome science from our lovely speakers Riccardo Storchi Charlotte Brassey Adam van Casteren Emma Clear Harry Gill Ugne Simanaviciute supersealsense but @SeaQRhyl also supplied amazing food and live research with the seals too!

Academia is a varied job... but weirdly our (mine, Charlotte Brassey and @runflyjump ) actual job this morning was taking Emma Clear 's cockapoo for a walk and feeding it treats as we walked around in front of Harry Gill 's camera for a bit. Pretty good morning!

Data collection season!! I had the pleasure of visiting Wildwood Kent with Robyn Grant to start gathering footage of some zoo canids! A really successful first bout of data collection, in what promises to be an exciting summer for the project #Walkonthewildside @EETrustUK

Another brilliant week of data collection. Thanks to Yorkshire Wildlife Park š¦ for hosting me! The canids were a little more elusive this time around, but those maned wolves canāt hide forever! Thank goodness for Georgia the carnivore keeper, and her amazing training with the painted dogs!

And well done Harry Gill presenting pilot data from his @EETrustUK funded PhD applying markerless tracking to dog gait analysis #SEBconference Ecology & Environment Research Centre @ManMetUni

Had the pleasure of speaking at Measuring Behavior in Aberdeen last week - Sharing our story of using markerless techniques for gait analysis in dogs! Funded by the wonderful @EETrustUK. Thanks to everyone kind enough to offer their thoughts and advice!

Successful outreach event at Manchester Museumās Wild Researchers Night!! Engaging with the public through my work in validating AI tools for tracking canid gait (hence the dog suit!). We also tasked the public with identifying animals using our movement animations! @EETrustUK
