Last night's MEMRN meeting was so good! It was such a treat to hear about MEMS own Dr Cassandra Harrington 's fascinating work on foliate figures. The meeting was perfectly summed up by speaker Elizabeth Hines: "Interesting things that people haven't paid enough attention to"

The MEMRN conference was everything we hoped it would be: an open, informal, and friendly space for the sharing of wonderfully diverse interdisciplinary research. to say that I am proud of our humble little network, and of my fellow organisers, would be an understatement.

brilliant talk at the MEMS seminar by our very own Harry and the impact of narrative charters in the Textus Roffensis in relation to its bibliographic potentials … if there’s one thing we should all take to heart is just how cool the TR is!!

It was a joy to give the MEMS research seminar last night to a wonderful Kentish cohort; speaking on Bishop Gundulf and his remembrance at Rochester through the Norman charters of the Textus Roffensis.

Excited to be returning to #IMC2025 within a panel on written records and institutional identity! I'll be speaking on hagiography and diplomatic from Rochester Cathedral Priory, and how a communal identity was forged through the written word.
