Ducrot class completed their CSPE classroom based assessment yesterday.  They chose to look at the issue of food poverty in the community and decided to organise a collection of non perishable food items for the local foodbank.

5th and TY students enjoying the Camino Trip

Narrative 4 presented Hartstown Community School with the Gold Award for promoting empathy and connection in our school. We are one of two schools in Ireland to gain this achievement! 2nd yr May and 1st yr Hume accepted award on behalf of the school.

Our choir took part in the Navan Choral Festival on Thursday 8th May (their first ever competition). They scored 80 out of 100 marks and received amazing feedback from the adjudicators. Everyone had a great day, it was a fantastic experience!

Pearl Clarke 2nd year represented our school in an all Ireland school cookery competition. Pearl prepared and served the food in picture. Well done Pearl we are very proud of your achievement. Nevin Maguire was one of judges and she was awarded highly recommended.
