Can we predict #sleep health using multimodal #brain features? Our recent #machine_learning study based on UK Biobank (n=28,088) showed low efficacy in separating extremes of sleep domains. A comprehensive work by Federico Raimondo et al. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

I'm so surprised and offended to see the professor mention "Chinese students are dishonest" during one of the invited talk. This is against the code of conduct of #NeurIPS2024 . The Chair Committee should look into this and we want to make sure this won't happen again.

Mitigating racial bias from LLMs is a lot easier than removing it from humans! Can’t believe this happened at the best AI conference NeurIPS Conference We have ethical reviews for authors, but missed it for invited speakers? 😡

Schmidhuber was a reviewer of the GAN paper in 2014. The reviews are public. He is the reviewer that asked us to cite predictability minimization. He did not ask us to cite artificial creativity (his current complaint). He hadn’t thought of that even in 2016.

I saw a slide circulating on social media last night while working on a deadline. I didn’t comment immediately because I wanted to understand the full context before speaking. After learning more, I feel compelled to address what I witnessed during an invited talk at NeurIPS 2024
