Today at the fodder sector roundtable, H.E. Minister Hassan Hussein Mohamed urged private firms & cooperatives to invest in boosting fodder production and conservation for healthier livestock in #Somalia. Investing in innovative practices, he said, is key to sustainable, affordable feed.



H.E Minister Hassan Hussein Mohamed met with Dr. Abebe Haile-Gabriel FAOAfricaADG and Etienne Peterschmitt of FAO in Somalia to deepen collaboration on sustainable livestock development, rangeland restoration, and forestry conservation—reaffirming our shared goals for resilience and growth.

FAO Somalia Representative Etienne Peterschmitt had the honour of hosting H.E. Hassan Hussein Mohamed, Minister of Ministry of Livestock, Forestry & Range - Somalia, at the FAO in Somalia office. The meeting focused on discussing collaborative strategies to further enhance the livestock sector.
