This week is #CandleFireSafetyWeek🕯️ Always follow these tips: 🔥Make sure that when lit, candles are secured in a holder and away from materials like curtains. 🔥Put candles out when you leave the room. 🔥Keep pets away from lit candles.

1807 - Fire Control received a call to a fire in a field off of Barlow Close, Hatfield. A crew from Hatfield Fire Stn attended. On their arrival the crew found this to be a false alarm #allcallsstartwithcontrol

Last night a fire at an industrial estate on Coopers Green Lane, St Albans saw 10 fire engines, 5 officers, and specialist units, including a command unit, water bowser and aerial ladder platform, in attendance. Crews will investigate and advise local businesses on fire safety.

Crews from Hatfield Green Watch rescued a mother cat and her newborn kittens. The mum had given birth to her kittens under floorboards at a property in Bishops Rise, Hatfield. Crews assisted rescuing the kittens leaving them in the care of their mother and homeowner #AnimalRescue
