In Walton-on-the-Naze, just recovered body of a porpoise which stranded in Nacton, Suffolk last week, evidence of historical grey seal interaction. Huge thanks to Louisa and Tony for helping us recover this one. Car rather full now... #CSIoftheSea heading homewards

First recovery in three months yesterday- picked up a neonate male harbour porpoise which live stranded and died at the Naze in Essex last week. Examination at ZSL today with Matt Perkins. Many thanks to Lou Hatwell for all the help. #CSIoftheSea back on the road again

Bkw141 - Last saw this seal 28/12/2019. Reoccurring circular shaped wound in majority of cases with most having a thick necrotic edge and raw middle Very poor water quality results, could this be weakening seals immune systems causing a small cut to turn into fungal infections?
