Crews from Hayle Emergency Services Community Station Tolvaddon Community Fire Station Penzance Community Fire Station supported by two WT officers attended an outbuilding with a large amount of general waste on fire. Crews used 4 BA & 2 main jets to extinguish the fire. The incident is now down scaled to 1 appliance monitoring hotspots.
π¨ Shout 24th Sept 07:18 π¨ Crew responded to report of residential fire in Hayle, along with colleagues from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station the area was searched and a small fire in the open was discovered and extinguished using hose reel jet.

π¨ Shout 24th September 12:27 π¨ Crew responded to Road Traffic Collision near Hayle involving motorcycle and car. Scene safety, road closure and casualty care duties were performed and casualty was eventually handed over to South Western Ambulance Service
π¨ Shout 21:25 20th December π¨ Hayle crew responded whilst mobile on A30 to an industrial building fire in Pool. Working with Tolvaddon Community Fire Station colleagues & using breathing apparatus, hose reel jet, positive pressure ventilation to extinguish & negate fire risk.
π¨ Shout 00:11 4th January π¨ Hayle crew mobilised to industrial property fire in Pool. Working alongside colleagues from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station using hose reel jet, thermal imaging & positive pressure ventilation, the fire was extinguished, property ventilated & searched.

Tonight we joined Hayle Emergency Services Community Station to take part in a breathing apparatus (BA) exercise. Working in pairs we performed a search and rescue drill that focused on our BA techniques. We would like to thank green Penzance Community Fire Station who organised this valuable training session.
