Our Jazz Band was impressive tonight on the Rock Hill stage! If you missed this performance, you have an opportunity to see them on Saturday at the TCU Jazz Festival in Fort Worth. They perform at TCU in PepsiCo Recital Hall at 9:30 a.m. We know they'll make us proud!

Our Symphonic Winds band was our final performing group to compete at UIL. They did an outstanding job, as we knew they would, and earned a Superior Rating. Another Sweepstakes performance for Hays Fine Arts!

Over the weekend, our 8th grade band students attended "Hype Day" at Rock Hill. We're excited for this group to begin their high school marching band journey!

Over the weekend, Zoe, Leander, and Rithvik performed in the district Concerto Contest and earned top spots! Congratulations to all, and to Leander on his 3rd place finish.

Check it out: several teachers are dusting off their instruments and will be playing in next week's band concert. Rehearsal today was lots of fun!

We had several staff members perform at our band concert last night, and they were fabulous! What a fun collaboration between staff and student musicians. Additional shout-out to our 8th graders who honored Mr. Aune for his countless contributions to Hays.
