The end of an era today as I retire from my post as Senior Nurse at Public Health Scotland after nearly 41 years as a nurse. Mixed emotions but looking forward to the next chapter.

A gathering of 100+ friends/ colleagues who met/worked in A&E, old Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh 30+ years ago. Held in the place they met, now The Canopy. Surreal, meal in corridor/trollies, drinks in resus 1 and ward 2! Lots of smiles/memories of the antics then. Great night.
