Kudos to Hossam Montaser for exploring the diabetes phenotype in MEDS1 syndrome (Microcephaly, Epilepsy, and Diabetes Syndrome-1)! doi.org/10.2337/db24-0… Our previous work on MEDS2 (doi.org/10.1172/JCI141…) found a similar phenotype, though with much less mechanistic detail.
