This week, from Nov. 10 to 16, we celebrate our Perioperative nurses who provide specialized care before, during and after surgical procedures. They collaborate as a team with surgeons, medical personnel, family members and loved ones.

Today marks the annual National Grief and Bereavement Day in Canada. Greif can come in many different forms and affects us in different ways. This day encourages us to make time to reflect and take action to create connection with those around us on their grief journey.

This year, Headwater Health Care Centre will be working together to help support the Orangeville Food Bank this holiday season. From November 20 to December 13, non-perishables food can be donated and dropped off outside the multi-faith centre.

The Headwaters TeleCheck Volunteer Visiting program was recognized by SE Health's challenge as a national runner-up with a $10,000 award! TeleCheck's goal is to tackle the pressing issue of social isolation among older adults. This award will allow them to expand the model.
