Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi today, Monday 07 July, received the investigation report on the findings of the inquiry conducted by Section 59 Investigation Panel into allegations of racial discrimination by medical schemes against black health care providers.

Director-General, Dr Sandile Buthelezi officially opened the WHO Regional Health Workforce Workshop today in Sandton, alongside the WHO SA Rep. Dr S. El-Halabi. The event includes participation from all WHO African member states to develop the African Agenda on Health Workforce.

Delegates attended the WHO Regional Health Workforce Workshop, held this week, to update the National Health Workforce Accounts (NHWA), among other objectives. The NHWA is a system through which countries improve the quality of health workforce data by monitoring key indicators.
