The NHS is asking everyone who’s sent a kit to complete it. The kit could save your life. It detects bowel cancer early, before you notice anything wrong. A few simple steps and a tiny sample. Put it by the loo. Don’t put it off. Your next poo could save your life.

I would definitely encourage other people to do it. It’s like having an MOT,” says Inigo. Everyone aged 50–74 will get a test every two years. So if you get sent a test: Put it by the loo. Don’t put it off. Send a sample of poo off in the post. It could save your life.

Here is a little guide to what we are up to at Healthwatch Camden. Expect to see campaigns on Bowel Cancer Screening and, later in the year, on Lung Cancer Screening. We are also working on a project to find out more about Bengali women's experience of diabetes services.#camden

A massive thank you to all the ladies from the local Bengali community who came forward to share their experiences of diabetes services. We spoke to women across Camden including at the Camden Mela, where our stall boasted free Mehndi! For more, type bit.ly/bengalidiabetes
