Two papers this week. The first is a review in CellChemicalBiology written with Dewpoint Therapeutics colleagues on the role of RNA in condensates including therapeutic implications. dlvr.it/TDT9LK Ann Boija Isaac Klein Richard Young and Tina Han. 1/n

FragileNucleosome seminars return this wednesday! Register at us06web.zoom.us/webinar/regist…

Graduate students Mikayla Eppert and Heankel Lyons representing the lab at the ASBMB transcription regulation meeting with a poster and a talk. Stay tuned for exciting work from both of these super star grad students.

Science is built on trust. What happens when someone destroys it? My first feature for The Transmitter investigates the emotional and existential fallout for one lab in the aftermath of a misconduct case. thetransmitter.org/science-and-so…

Check out our review on an RNA-centric view of transcription and genome organization in an #RNA-focused issue of Molecular Cell! It was a delight to write with Richard Young. cell.com/molecular-cell…

Looking forward to this! Thanks a lot for having me jackson hoffman FragileNucleosome

New work from the lab! James Stowell led this project showing the importance of multivalency and phospho-regulation in mRNA decay. This has many parallels with other mechanisms in gene expression... 🧵 1/ #RNA #NMR #bioRxiv @MRC_LMB European Research Council (ERC)

We are getting ready for the online symposium with the Biophysical Society. Here is the registration (no fees) link: biophysics.org/upcoming-netwo… Biophysical Society

Thank you! So lucky to be part of this community and the Sabari lab Ben Sabari

I am excited to share our review, published online today Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology. Pilong Li, Gaofeng Pei, Heankel Lyons, and I review the current literature on the regulation of transcription by condensates, large length-scale assemblies of complexes (Figure 1). nature.com/articles/s4158…

Our new study by Jinli Wang and Ivan D’Orso at @UTSW is out. We reveal the importance of the ARF tumor suppressor in dismantling transcription elongation complexes to selectively disable oncogenic transcription programs upon p53 loss. Great collab with Seychelle Vos and others, National Cancer Institute.

🎄🔔Ho Ho ho!😆 Our final #FragileNucleosome seminar of the year! We are excited to host Julia Rogers and Nithya Ramakrishnan , two amazing ECR scientists! 🗓️Don't forget to register: us06web.zoom.us/webinar/regist…

Hey NC/Triangle area folks: registration is now open for the annual Chromatin and Epigenetics Symposium at UNC on March 6th! This year's program will feature a keynote talk from Cigall Kadoch and short talks selected from abstracts. Click to register: unclineberger.org/event/2025-chr…

A few memories from commencement last night. Thank you Ben Sabari UT Southwestern Medical Center and my family and friends for being there during such a special moment!
