Loving this storytelling session from Ishbel Smith π and not just because she had a Taylor Swift slide but because she started off by encouraging us to talk about what we love about where we work. #SCVOGathering

Really engaging session from Ishbel Smith π on storytelling for charities! Lots taken away to think about how we share the stories of the women we support at Financially Included π #SCVOGathering

Thanks to Ishbel at Ishbel Smith π for a really interesting and thought-provoking session! #SCVOGathering

Just attended a wonderful session on how we can improve and reflect on our storytelling, from Ishbel Smith π! Learning about the story formula and how best to amplify and platform our sectorβs stories! π£οΈβ€οΈ This will come in handy for our podcast and video plans! ποΈποΈ

Session 2, "Storytelling to connect and inspire" with Ishbel Smith π was really excellent with a mix of inspirational examples of storytelling being put to use and practical advice on understanding and telling stories within your organisation

At #TheGathering today, representing The House of Hope Scotland with Founder, Lisa Fleming. Weβre one of Scotlandβs newest charities, so it was a great way to connect with sector. Lots of interesting speakers. My fave was Ishbel Smith π session on process of storytelling. SCVO

One of the joys of being a facilitator is to accompany teams as they discuss what it is to connect, communicate and care together. It was my privilege to hold space for the fab members of the board of Who Cares? Scotland this weekend and so nice to get such lovely feedback today. β€οΈ

The thing about stories is that they are true. This may not be a real TV show, but its an absolutely factual tale. What do you know about human rights and how they are being lived here in the UK? Well done to Amnesty UK for telling this story. #humanrightsmatter #beforeoureyes

Good morning Glasgow. Always good to return to my home town, especially to help facilitate the conversations of fantastic people who make lives better for refugees in Scotland Homeless Network Scotland Turning Point Scotland Refugees at Home𧑠Scottish Refugee Council 𧑠Simon Community Scotland

Brilliant to spend a day facilitating with this fabulous team CYCJ Scotland who gave themselves some time and space to start planning how they move forward together - and celebrate who they are and what they have done so far. Thanks for inviting me along! #StarTeam

Itβs been my privilege to help tell the Harmeny Education Trust story over the last 4 years. This article frames the story so well - how can others learn about how to nourish and nurture young people who have been impacted by trauma in their lives? #traumainformed #traumaresponsive

Looking forward to chairing a great two days with Homeless Network Scotland at their annual conference in sunny Perth. Lots of stories, planning and insights to be shared as Scotland faces a Housing Emergency #RightHereRightNow
