A group of our children made the short journey to the British Legion Hall yesterday to make Christmas wreaths with members of our local community. It was lovely to see different generations working together and new friendships being formed.

Year 2 have been learning all about Harvest Festival. They enjoyed their Harvest afternoon sharing their acrostic poems and making fruit baskets. Thank all the parents and children in Year 2 for their generous donations which will be going to a local food bank.

Y4 have been learning all about the digestive system & teeth! We carried out an enquiry to find out which liquids have the biggest effect on our enamel. We couldn't put our own teeth into the liquids so we used boiled eggs! We found that more sugary drinks are bad for our teeth.

We recently received new wellies and waterproofs to help keep our outdoor learning groups warm and dry over the winter months. We'd like to send a big thank you to The Ernest Cook Trust for helping us with this project!
