(1/3) One lesson I bring to teaching from my life as a dog trainer is that teaching anything well is actually pretty simple. It requires knowing 3 basic things.

(2/3) how a particular idea or skill develops in the learner, how to create the conditions that cause the skills or ideas to develop and knowing when the learner is ready to move on to the next step.

(3/3) Simple. Not easy, but simple. I look forward to connecting with Ontario math educators as we dig into this simple but not easy territory as it relates to teaching fractions through problem solving @OAME2023
